It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Schneider Hansen of Gillsville, Georgia, born in Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr Willis Claude and Francis Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Baker Hansen of Gillsville, Georgia; and his children, Susan Lorrie Huckabee (George) of Topeka, Kansas, Stephen Arthur Hansen (Lisa) of Gillsville, Georgia, Anna Marie Jones (Bill) of Dawsonville, Georgia and Bradley Curtis. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial gifts be made to Gainesville First United Methodist church Chancel Choir (2780 Thompson Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30506).
