She was predeceased by: her son Little Ed Dorsey; and her siblings, Ausborne, Howard, John, Marshall, Martha and Leota.

She is survived by: her daughter Angela Brooks (Randy) of Nicholson; her brothers, William Carnes of Cleveland and Robert Carnes of Lula; and her grandchildren, Ansley Robinson (John), Carly Mize (Wade) and Walker Brooks.
