He is survived by: his children, Joyce Miller of Gillsville, Janice Hulsey of Lula and Nathan Sims of Gillsville; and his siblings, Eugene Sims of Gillsville, George Sims of Gillsville, Jackie Sims of Gillsville and Lois Loggins of Nicholson. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
