She was predeceased by: her father Ralph Turpin; and her brother James Turpin. She is survived by: her mother Zelma Turpin; her husband Nathan John Sims; her daughter Amber Sims (Nate Noack); and her siblings, Margie Boyd (Charles) and John Turpin (Teresa).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (1053 S Elm St, Commerce, GA 30529). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Emmanuel Community/Pine Grove Church (6079 GA-52, Gillsville, GA 30543).
