It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. McIntyre of Gillsville, Georgia, who passed away on August 13, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy McIntyre and Odessa Sosebee McIntyre. He is survived by: his sister Patricia "Pat"; and his brother-in-law George "Mac" Pope of Jefferson.

The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Sunday August 16, 2020 from 3:00 p. m. until 5:00 p. m. Due to the on going COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will need to be observed for everyone's health and safety and masked are recommended.
