He is survived by: his wife Sherron Turner Davis of Gillsville; his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Carla Davis of Jacksonville, Florida; his daughters, Deborah Alexander of Gainesville and Shelby Crider of Gillsville; his grandchildren, Kelsey Alexander and Shannon Alexander; his siblings-in-law, Stanley, Lynne Blackwell of Dallas, Jeffrey, Jessica Blackwell of Clarksville, Linda of Gainesville, James Bryant of Gainesville, Nancy of Gainesville, David Spain of Gainesville, Darlene of Gainesville and D. J. Duran of Gainesville; and his sister Elizabeth Hewell of Flowery Branch. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; brothers.
