He was predeceased by: his parent Harvey Royce. He is survived by: his parent Gertie Dell Murphy Smith; his sons, James Smith (Amber) and Michael Smith (Nicole); his brother Raymond Smith; his sister-in-law Laraine Smith of Cleveland; his sisters, Shirley Smith of Gainesville, Peggy Mayhue of Jefferson and Tinnie Smith of Gainesville; his brother-in-law Dovie; and his child Susan Smith of Buford. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
