With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Buffington Ferguson (Gillsville, Georgia), who passed away on November 25, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alma and Winiferd Buffington. She is survived by: her daughter Twylita Ferguson Gee; her husband Carter Butterworth; her daughter Tonita; her sons-in-law, Michael Buffington of Gillsville and Horace Gee of Gainesville; her brother John "Jake"; her sister-in-law Shirley Buffington of Gillsville; her sister Laynette Williams of Gillsville; her grandchildren, Chrisondra Ransom (Billy), Andrew Ferguson (Cara), Whitney Chapman (Will) and Matthew Gee; and her great grandchildren, Haylee Ransom, Mason Ransom, Skylar Chapman, Emmitt Chapman and Lyla Ferguson.
