Doug Turk Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doug Turk (Gillsville, Georgia), born in Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on April 10, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Turk and Blanch Turk. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Turk of Gillsville; his daughter Melanie; his son-in-law Ben Parks of Gainesville; his daughter Carrie; his son-in-law Chris Carpenter of Lula; his daughter Jessie; his son-in-law Jason Bland of Gillsville; his granddaughter Emma Bland; and his brother Roy Turk of Colbert.

Because of the current pandemic, a graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at 10:00 a. m. in Memorial Park Cemetery.
