He is survived by: his wife Mildred Ann Merck Poole of Gillsville; his children, Lamar Keith Poole (Debra) of Royston, Kelly Joe Poole (Angela) of Crocker, Daniel Clay Poole (Teresa) of Gainesville, Mark Corey Poole (Jennifer) of Gainesville, Peggy Smith (Danny) of Gainesville, Patty Cook (Tony) of Gainesville, Nancy Allen of Gillsville and Mary Carlyle (Allan) of Maysville; and his siblings, Rev. M. A. Poole of Gainesville, Harry Lee Poole of Texas, Earl Gene Poole of Gainesville, Jerry Poole of Gwinnett, Frances House of Gainesville and Kathleen Sullivan of Gainesville. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.
