She was predeceased by: her parents, Sandy Hicks, Jr. and Peggy Louise Wallace Hicks; her husbands, James E. Burnett and Randall Kemp; her daughter Leslie Denise Grindle; her son-in-law Christopher George Grindle; and her brother Rodger "Buggy" Sandy Hicks.
She is survived by: her sons, Bradley (Michelle Burnett) and Chris (Daphne Burnett); her brother Larry E.; her sister-in-law Deborah Hicks of Gillsville; and her grandchildren, Christopher Grindle, Brandon, Rachel Burnett, Lauren, Stephen Rutledge, Shane, Catherine Burnett, Ashleigh, Trevor Cleaveland, Jackson Grindle and Avery Grindle. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
