She was predeceased by: her parents, John Story and Francis Kent Story; her husband Julian Braddock (Joe); and her son-in-law Brian Wells. She is survived by: her children, Joseph Braddock (Emma), Johnny Glen Braddock, Mitzie Braddock, Tamela Wells and Nicole Hayes (Donald); her sisters, Frankie Johnson, Joyce Smith, Johnnie Mae Walden and Glender Padgett; her pet Waffles; and her caregivers, Lillian Echols and Constance Mason. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Walden's Church (1760 Walden Church Rd, Avera, GA 30803).
