She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie B. Wells and Adelle Sammons Wells; her siblings, John Willie Wells, George Wells, Lewis Wells, James Wells, Katie Overstreet, Doris Marsh and Florrie Arrington; and her half-brother Donald Turner.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Olin Kent; her stepchild Rebekkah Heidi Kent of Gibson; her siblings-in-law, Judson Arrington and Lucinda Brookins (Roy) of Beaufort, SC; and her mothers-in-law, Sarah Kent of Gibson and Tammy Turner (Freddy) of Gibson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
