He is survived by: his wife Julia Brooks Stevenson; his children, Pamela Stevenson Florence of Martinez, GA, Sheryll Stevenson Chalker (Bobby) of Thomson, GA, Brooke Alaniz (Paul) of Simpsonville, SC, Alecia Esarey (Mike) of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Brett Norris (Crystal) of Gibson, GA; his siblings, Norman Stevenson of Thomson, GA, Janice Stevenson of Dearing, GA, Kathleen Brown of Warrenton, GA, Louise Key of Warrenton, GA and Carol Ann Stevenson of Harlem, GA; his grandchildren, Hannah Herndon Marshall (Scott), Olin Williamson Herndon (Kelly), Ivy Elizabeth Clements, Clinton Robert Chalker, Shannon Lea Chalker Wojcio (Brian), Bekka Walicke (Alex), Ian Smith, Emma Smith, Brett Norris, Jr. and Sallie Ann Norris; and his great grandchildren, Everett James Herndon, Hazel Elizabeth Clements, Ada Perry Marshall and A. J. Walicke.
It is the family's request that memorial contributions be made to The McDuffie County Animal Shelter in honor of Jerry's love of animals.
