It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Murphy Jr. of Gibson, Georgia, born in Wildwood, Florida, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Murphy, Sr. and Lessie Eldridge Murphy; and his sister Janette Wells. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Murphy of Gibson; his daughters, Kristie Stephens (James) of Gibson, Tracy Miller (Lee) of Gibson and Amy Kitchens of Gibson; his sister Carol Jackson (Michael) of Decatur, TX.; his grandchildren, Brooke Stephens, Morgan Reid (Malik), Lauren Bailey, Blair Waller, Murphy Waller, Alyssa Kitchens and Mason Kitchens; and his great grandchildren, Addison Bailey and Hayden Bailey. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Because of the family's concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.
