He is survived by: his wife Geneva Kitchens; his children, Suzanne Benford (Paul) of Watkinsville and Jeffrey Kitchens (Becky) of Winterville; his sister Carol Kendrick of Augusta; and his grandchildren, Madeline Peacock (Andrew) of Perry, Emily Poole (Allen) of Statham, Phillip Benford of Watkinsville, Jacob Kitchens of Winterville and Ashleigh Kitchens of Winterville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Because of the family's concern for public health and safety during this pandemic, the family requests that social distancing and other safety precautions be followed. The wearing of face masks is encouraged.
