He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Alva Kent and Loretta Davis Kent; and his brother Alton Kent. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Mangum Kent of Gibson; his daughter Lucinda; his son-in-law Roy Brookins of Beaufort, SC.; his son Mark Olin; his daughter-in-law Renda Kent of Gibson; his grandchildren, Rebekkah Heidi Kent of Gibson, David K., Kathryn, Katie B. and Tyler H. Cummings of Macon, GA.; and his great grandchild Connor A. Brookins of Columbia, SC.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
