He was predeceased by: his parents, Harris Kitchens and Mary Nell Kitchens; his wife Essie Lee Kitchens; and his siblings, Elizabeth Kitchens and John Curtis Kitchens.
He is survived by: his children, Lora Stewart (Jackie) of Gibson, Kenneth Kitchens of Gibson and Chester Kitchens Jr. of Gibson; his grandson Donny Stewart of Stapleton; and his siblings, Ralph Kitchens, James Kitchens, Windel Kitchens, Sarah Wood, Katherine Todd, Judy Lampp, Janell Higden, Linda Fulcher, Mildread Hume and Frankie Black.
