He is survived by: his wife Sandy Haywood Summers; his children, Tommy (Tracie), Mark (Robert), Kurt and Shelia Mobley; his stepchildren, Brett Hadden (Michelle), Bo Shelton (Karina) and Lisa Tavares (Zach); his siblings, Charlotte Winslett, George (Connie), Deanna Massengale (Johnny), Richard (Linda), Howard (Jeannie), Warren (Donna) and Susie King (Ricky); his grandchildren, TJ (Crystal), Chris (Olivia), Jimmy (Ryan), Dustin Mobley, Ethan Shelton (Sabrina), Anna Shelton, Austin Shelton (Aimee), Dylan and Brandon Beckworth; and his great grandchildren, Andrew, Charles, Trenton, Rhett, Lillie, Austin Jr. and Billielyn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 18th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Taylor Funeral Home-Gibson (57 College St, Gibson, GA 30810). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Sheppard Memorial Chapel of Taylor Funeral Home Gibson (57 College St, Gibson, GA 30810).
