He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Mary Elizabeth Cody Wooten; his wife Mary Sue Porterfield Wooten; and his son Michael Huey Wooten. He is survived by: his daughter Deborah Darlene Picard (Gary) of Abbeville, Alabama; his sister Agnes Hartley of Plant City, Florida; his grandchildren, Kimberly Stephens, Scott Dunn, Davis Dunn, Meredith Rolf, Rebekah Picard, Matthew Picard and Megan Kinsora; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Day, Marissa Lee, Landon Dunn, Devon Turner and Blake Dunn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and at 2:30 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Assembly of God (250 State Docks Rd, Eufaula, AL 36027). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Georgetown Cemetery (133 South St, Georgetown, GA 39854).
