He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Levoit Johnson and Nettie Murphy Johnson; his former wife Jean Turner Johnson; his granddaughter Lilah Johnson; his stepson Jonathan Alford; and his sister Sylvia Cochran.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra C. Johnson of Gay; his sons, Lee (Tiffany Johnson) and Matthew (Maegan Johnson); his stepson Larry (Lera Alford) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Brent Johnson, Kourtney and Devon Avett; and his great grandchildren, Colten, Brantley, Gracelynn, Oaklynn and Seely.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home (208 Johnson St, Hogansville, GA 30230). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Moreland First Baptist Church (2930 S. U. S. Highway 29, Moreland, GA 30259).
