He is survived by: his children, Alton Abercrombie (Nadine), Christopher Abercrombie (Rhonda) and Melynda Gayle (Larry); his grandchildren, Robbie, Travis, Kevin, Josh, Olivia (Xavier), Madelyn, Samuel and Natalie; his great grandchildren, Hampton, Kinzie, Alice, Wilson and Ellarie; and his sister Joan Yankey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Christ c/o Africa Fund 1414 Alvaton Rd. Gay, GA 30218 for missionary work, providing food, Bible's and songbooks, and buildings to songbook, work there.
