He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Celia Young; and his daughter Jan Hamlett. He is survived by: his son Bill Young, Jr. of Brunswick; his siblings, Malcolm Young (Elaine) of Ashville, N. C. and Gale Brafford (Nick) of Gastonia, NC.; and his grandchildren, Jessica Young, Kristin Miller and William Hamlett (Krystle). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
