He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Thomas Britt and Opal Loretta Smith Britt; and his siblings, Eursly Britt, Jerry and Carl Britt.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Jo Britt of Millen; his sons, Jeremy Spencer Britt (Jennifer) of Reidsville and Carlton Thomas Britt (Stephanie) of Statesboro; and his sisters, Josephine Britt Scott of Cleveland, TN and Bonnie Britt Roberts (Mike) of Jesup. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
