He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Sapp Coney of Garfield; his children, Lenard Coney, Jr. (Ada) of Swainsboro, Glenda Jean Coney of Jacksonville, FL, Sonya Louise Coney of Swainsboro, Sharon Denise Owens (TJ) of Dumfries, VA and Dedrie Matthews (Dennis) of Adrian; and his siblings, Dave Coney, Jr. (Nellie), Avie Lanier of Plainfield, NJ, Jennie Ruth Parrish of Orlando, FL and Mary Lanier of Garfield. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
