He was predeceased by: his parents, Hardy Newton Sikes, Jr. and Erna Johnson Sikes; and his sisters, Virginia Covington and Patsy Covington. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Sikes of Garfield; his children, John Gregory Sikes (Martha) of Charlotte, NC and Cindy Ford (Raymond) of Powder Springs; his grandchildren, Andrew Sikes (Becky) of Smithfield, VA, Ashley Dean (Donovan) of Lexington, SC, Rachel Ford of Atlanta and Evan Ford of Atlanta; his great grandchildren, Harper Sikes, Hudson Sikes, Avery Sikes, Ellianna Sikes, Camden Dean and Connor Dean; and his sister June Ellen Clark of Garfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
