He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Albert and Mary Emma Stewart; and his siblings, L. S. Stewart, Dennis Albert Stewart, Reba Mae Smith, Juliette Brown, Elizabeth Key and Calvin Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Era M. Stewart; his children, Charles Williams "Charlie" Stewart, Jr. of Garfield, GA, Rosemary DiSimone of Columbus, GA. and Laura Kate Rambo (Norris) of Columbus, GA.; his granddaughters, Carlin Era Stewart of Garfield, GA and Cordelia Rose DiSimone of Columbus, GA.; and his great grandchild Addison Aurora Stewart of Blackshear, GA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
