She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Joseph C. Earls; her parents, Grady Whelchel and Maribel Whelchel; and her sisters, Eva Mae Earls and Virginia Elrod.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley McKibbon and Claude Whelchel; her children, Brenda Colbert (Victor), Priscilla Jones (Arthur), Carlton Earls and Kenneth Earls; her grandchildren, Andrew, Ashlee Colbert, Bria Earls, Jimmie, Jeremy Jones and Brittany Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Colbert, Havana Lewis, Jimonte, Jamario, Layla and Keyonna Jones.
