It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wilma Kanaday Haynes of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Lumpkin, Georgia, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Marion "Will" and Clara Gillespie Kanaday; her husband Kenneth Floyd Haynes; and her siblings, Claude Kanaday (Vernice), Marvin Kanaday (Faye), Edward Kanaday (Ruby), Jack Kanaday (Evelyn), Pauline Stephens (Robert), Mary Anderson (Hoyt) and Ruth Kanaday. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a number of other family members.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial contributions please be made to Yellow Creek Baptist Church, P.O. Box 526, Murrayville, Georgia 30564 in memory of Wilma.
