He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Henry Poole and Amanda "Mandy" Poole (Hawkins); and his siblings, Dixie Poole, Helen Poole Hawkins, Nellie Poole Sloan, Boyd Poole, Edna McEntire, Ben Poole and Sally Poole Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Poole (Brown); his daughter Amy Chosewood (Poole); his grandchildren, Jacob Poole, Michael Chosewood, Abby Chosewood and Millie Kate Chosewood; his brother Ed Poole; and his niece Susan Black (Miller).
