It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willa Maurine Martin of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Walker Martin and Madge Smith Martin; her daughter Dr. Carol Johnson; and her sister Mary Martin. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Deane; her son-in-law James Garmon of Cleveland; and her sisters, Helen Martin of Gainesville and Linda Dover of Gainesville. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, her 9 great-grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.
