He was predeceased by: his parent Cohen Rogers; his wife Mae Davis Rogers; and his grandson SSgt Chad Emory Taylor. He is survived by: his parent Felicia Buchanan Rogers; his daughter Gwynn Taylor; his son-in-law Richard Taylor of Gainesville; his daughters, Beth Hanson of Gainesville, Lori (Steve Murray) and Jill (Tracy Jones); his brothers, Larry Rogers of LaGrange and Kenny Rogers of McDonough; his grandchildren, Josh Taylor, Brittany Fogle, Douglas Hanson, Aubrey Fenton, Samantha Murray, Stephen Murray and Mitchell Jones; and his great grandchildren, Noah Taylor, Naomi Taylor, Deion Fogle, Dylan Fogle, Ava Fenton and Georgia Fenton.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Lakewood Baptist Church School in Guatemala City, Guatemala "Rays of Hope".
