With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vida Mae Brown (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her daughters, Verna, Grace and Vida; her cousin Florette; her children, Story Teller, Coordinator, Day Speaker, Chairperson, Reunion and April (Julian); her nieces, Sherri and LaVerne; her great-nephew Melvin (Barbara); her stepchildren, Fay, Ray (Didi) and Everett (Waveney); her stepgrandchildren, Chad, David, Keyon, Kevin and Karen; and also Ace.
She was always excited to sing duet with her mother, to perform with the Les Chanson (quintet) and to carol with The Foundation Trio which was also known as The Sisters.
