He is survived by: his wife Mattie Blackwell Sheriff; his children, Todd (Misti Sheriff), Clermont and Cindy; his son-in-law Brian Wimpy; his sister Vickie; his brother-in-law Johnny Mangum; his grandchildren, Cole Sheriff (Brandy), Seth Thomas (Taylor), Micah Thomas (Hannah), Levi Wimpy and Anna Wimpy; and his great grandchild Silas Thomas.
