With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Jean Harper (Gainesville, Georgia), who passed away on August 23, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hoyt W. Harper; her father William "Willie" R. Mitchum Sr (Annie); and her siblings, Dr. William "Bill" Mitchum Jr (Miriam) and Doris Smith (Ed). She is survived by: her children, Holly Jean Harper of Augusta, GA and Cameron "Mitch" Harper (Evelyn); her grandchildren, Cameron and Hannah; and her sister-in-law Bobbie Jean Wolfe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
