He is survived by: his wife Nora "Susie" White Appleton; his sons, Heyward Gignilliat and Darrell; his daughter-in-law Leslie Gignilliat; his grandchildren, Miles, Sydney and Evie Gignilliat; his sister Janet; his brother-in-law Ken Payton; his nieces and nephews, Hank Appleton (Donna), Lori Daniel (Mike), Jill Tidmore (Jeff), Jennifer Carter (Shane), Rand Payton (Jaime) and Cacye Payton; and his cousins, Jean Stead (Ed), Henry Stanley and Swift Tarbell (Stella). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (422 Brenau Ave NE, Gainesville, GA 30501).
