He was predeceased by: his father John Evans Walker; his siblings, Sanford Walker, Johncy Walker Davis, Joel Walker Johnson, Joan Walker and Journia Walker; and his nieces, Erica Tate and Cheryl Waller Akers.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Debbie Latimer; and his nieces and nephews, Sandy, Roland, Anita, Nancy Walker, Sylvia, Elmer, Marion Akers, Susan and Nelson Geter. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
