She is survived by: her husband William Royce Smith; her daughter Juanita Missi Martin; her son-in-law David L. Abernathy; her sons, James J. Evans Sr. of Gainesville and Randall D. Ladd of Gainesville; her grandsons, John (Whitney Tatum) and Cody (Brooke Tatum); her granddaughter-in-law Kaleigh Evans of Cleveland; her sister Marie Dunnell; her brother-in-law Harry Smith; and her aunt Sue Barreras of Albemarle. She is also survived by 2 step grandsons and 1 step granddaughter, 4 great-grandsons and 3 great-granddaughters and 2 step great- granddaughters.
