It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Merck of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on August 23, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Fauscett and Reba Pennington Fauscett; her grandson Steven Souther; and her siblings, Grover Fauscett, Lloyd Fauscett, Robert Fauscett, Glenn Fauscett, Gene Fauscett, Reba Bounds, Christine Gee and Morene Merck.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Merck (Rebecca), Tim Merck (Gina), Todd Merck, Daniel Merck, Deborah Jean Merck and Corlissa Souther (Junior). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren & 15 great grandchildren with a host of nieces & nephews and other relatives.
Due to the spike in Covid the family has asked for everyone attending to wear a mask and please social distance.
