Sharon R. Rugg Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024, at the age of 76, Sharon R. Rugg of Gainesville, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Sharon has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ed Rugg; her sisters, Pam Cormany and Brenda West; her children, Brian and Julie; and her parents, Mary Jean and Bob Rock. She was also cherished by six grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Gainesville (800 S Enota Dr NE, Gainesville, GA 30501).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Operation Christmas Child at Samaritan's Purse, for which Sharon passionately packed numerous shoeboxes year-round.
