It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Dorcas Hardison of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on July 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Olan Fowler and Hattie Grace Nix Fowler; her husband Max Hardison; her children, Sandi Martin and James Hardison; and her sister Sue Goines.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria; her son-in-law Paul Hamler of Blairsville; her brother Paul; her sister-in-law Ruth Ann Fowler of Knoxville, TN.; and her grandchildren, Jesse Hamler, Sarah Hamler and Max Sisk. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Union County Humane Society Mountain Shelter in Mrs. Hardison's memory.
