Sara Batten Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Batten of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Glynn and Ellen Pearl White Thurman; her siblings, Carolyn Cox, Bobby Gene Thurman and William Thurman (Billy); and her sister-in-law Martha Knight Thurman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Harold Thurman, Marie Bankston (Bobby) and DeLane Gossett (Bobby). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Sara's memory may be made to Bethel UMC, Stockbridge, GA., Zoo Atlanta or a charity of your choice.
