It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby Conner of Gainesville, Georgia, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sally Thompson and John C. Harrington; her siblings, Y. J. Harrington (Elizabeth), Sally Lou Canupp (Jerry) and W. Andrew "Ted" Harrington (Maude); her husband Charles Carlton Conner; and her daughters, Ruby Carolyn and Janis Lynn Gilman (John).
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Jean Conner and Carol Melissa Conner Roman (Phil); her grandson Jhaysin Andrew Gilman (Carissa A.); her nieces and nephews, Kay Armour, Pat O'Kelley, Y. J. Harrington Jr. (Karen), Jack Canupp (Carol), Jerry Canupp (Jacque) and Don Canupp (Jennifer); and also, Sally Smith (Randy) and Garry A. Wood.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Northeast Georgia, to Meals on Wheels or to the organization of one's choice.
