He is survived by: his mother Jo Evelyn Johnson Author; his wife Juanita Osborne; his daughters, Antonietta Johnson-Marshall (Dwayne), Ershla Johnson (Ruben) and Jade Johnson (Omar); his grandchildren, Brison, Solomon, Keziah, Payton and Jeryln; his great grandchild Brea; his aunt Blanche Rivers; his brothers, Wesley Simpson, Tony Simpson, David Simpson, Tim Simpson and Lewis Simpson; his cousins, Marilyn Johnson-Chappelle and Henry Johnson; his close friends, Richard Alexander, Allen Campbell, Lewis Curry, III, Nelly Kuntz, James Henry Maddox and Robert Rok; and his fur-buddy Sparky. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
He generously donated his time to play for weddings, funerals, church programs, and senior centers and nursing homes, where he entertained and uplifted the patients.
