He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Young and Fannie Lou Young; and his sister Essaletta Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Young of Gainesville; his children, Rodney Young of Pendergrass and Shannon Trotter (Christian) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Taylor Stanley (Slade), Hannah Trotter and Ansley Trotter; and his great grandchild Elias Stanley. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
