He was predeceased by: his father James T. Hammond; and his grandson Christopher Snyder. He is survived by: his daughters, Whitney Hammond of Pendergrass, GA and Jessica Hammond Elvis of Greenville, SC; his stepfather Ray (Peggy Payne) of Cleveland, GA; his sisters, Pamela Vrooman of Gainesville, GA, Angie Ogletree of Gainesville, GA and Wendy Sargent of Gainesville, GA; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Jon Michael, Matthew, Chesnee and Quinn.
