She was predeceased by: her parents, Lounette Macon Tanner and Jesse Townes; her siblings, Sybil, Stacey Tanner and Travis Townes; and her granddaughter Aniyah.
She is survived by: her children, Quinshayla (Twon Coats) and Statavious Cheek; her grandsons, Ladarious, Malik Vanison, Sencir Watson and Preston; her siblings, Betty Tanner (Charles Sims), Bridigit Wilkins (Roy), Sharon Townes, Dana Tanner and Tracy; her aunts, Jerri Tanner and Doris Bullock; her brother-in-law James "Chipper" Byron; and her uncle Billy Ray Tanner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
