He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Skelton and Ethelene Skelton (Griffin); his brother Billy Skelton; his brother-in-law Paul Obregon; and his granddaughter Anna Marie Whiting.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Lee Skelton (Vivi), Josh Skelton, Rhonda Shea (John) and Melissa Griffin (Scott); his siblings, Arnold Skelton (Linda), Phillip Skelton and Linda Obregon; his grandchildren, Holly Page (Jamie), Stephen Pitts, Carly Larsen (Trey), Maggie Griffin, Audrey Griffin, Sarah Skelton, Ricky Skelton, III, Ben Skelton and Becky Skelton; and his great grandchildren, Teagan, Nixon Lucas, Kayley, Madison and Hunter.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Harmony Hall Baptist Church, 4160 Harmony Church Road, Gillsville, GA 30543.
