He was predeceased by: his parents, Silmon R. Casper and Viola Fulcher Casper; his wife Dorothy; his son Edward Casper; and his siblings, Louise Melear, Montine Hunter, Jean Scogin, A. L. "Bud" Casper and Tom Casper.
He is survived by: his sons, Mike (Lugene Casper) and Kenny Casper (Connie Hayes); his grandchildren, Richie (Yukari Casper), Ryan (Catherine Casper), Kristin Casper of Columbus, GA, Brittanae Casper of New York, NY and Cheyenne (Brandon Fuqua); his great grandchildren, Caleigh, Ansley Cate, Olivia Casper and Chandler Fuqua; and his sister Merita Austin of Winder, GA..
He is a Paul Harris Fellow, and Athens Rotary Foundation Associate, and a Will Watt Fellow.
