He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lee Winkles, Sr. and Margaret Dingler Winkles; his wife Elizabeth Winkles; his siblings, Jerry Winkles, Ricky Winkles and Bobbie Stephens; and the mother of his children Paula Winkles.
He is survived by: his sons, Timmy Winkles (Gina) of Alto, GA and Michael Winkles of Alto, GA; his stepchildren, Cale Hulsey (Sandi) of Demorest, GA and Laura Phillips (Wade) of Gainesville; his grandchildren, Brittany Hunt (Ryan) of Toccoa, GA, Makayla Winkles of Alto, GA, Neil Holtzclaw (Avonlea) of Dahlonega, Tyler Hulsey of Habersham, GA, Beth Hulsey of Commerce, GA and Brook Webb (Dalton) of Gainesville; and his great grandchildren, Braylin Winkles, Makenzie Hunt, Colt, Maddie Kate, Sawyer, Lillie, Kyler and Kyzer.
